Peter About.jpg

Peter Simpson Cook

Peter draws from his experiences growing up in the Mountain West to create watercolors, portraits, oil and acrylic works rife with depictions of zen landscapes, architectural beauty and portraits, lending artistic insight to life in the West. As a Southern California based artist, Cook's canvases and portraits center on light and shadow with themes of hands holding leaves, blowing paper and architectural stillness; his watercolors explore passionate landscapes and abstract themes from the natural world. His studio is in West Hollywood.
